Trip up North: Maine

"She's pretty smart for a fat dog" - Actual quote from Dixie's (the dog) owner. Who had a total of three teeth and wreaked of cheap whiskey, oh did i mention it was 11am.

Woke up at about six thirty to find a thick fog rolling over Lake Annabesacook.

I know people are going to hate this picture, showing them stuffing their faces or faces all ready stuffed, but I like it. We had a big ol' thanksgiving like dinner with our family and friends in Maine. Our six day trip as a whole was fantastic we were surrounded by loved ones the whole duration we were their. The time went by too fast as it often does, but it was a damn good time anyway.

Trip up North: Boston

First night back we met up with a bunch a friends, filled two tables at the new Beacon Street Tavern, where my friend Pete is a chef, food was great, especially the lobster chowder. Had a lot of laughs and enjoyed some fine boston brewed Harpoon IPA. It was great to be home and walk the familiar streets of Boston.

St. Augustine, FL

We decided to be spontaneous last weekend and drove three hours south to see our friends John and Caroline's new apartment. The place was very nice one block from the beach. St. Augustine is very much like Savannah they both pride themselves on how old everything is.

We ended up at the Mill Top Tavern just as a T-storm rolled in, strangely enough the Mill top Tavern was in fact on top of a mill. We listened to the musical stylings of the four piece band "The Mike Hart Trio" and watched the lighting flash over the ocean.

Winthrop had a pretty good time too. The only part that really sucked was waking up at 6:30 AM on sunday to get to work at nine.

Savannah Sandgnats

Went to the SandGnats game last night, good times, It was a bit humid (see chris in COOL ZONE), but the bugs stayed away which was a plus. It was Hurricane awareness as well as teacher appreciation night so we got a twofer and thats always good, The Gnats (Nationals farm team) had a 5-0 lead in the first, but the Ashville tourists (Rockies farm team) tied it up 6-6 in the ninth, and I hate to say it but we left in the tenth, who does that? Oh and just so you know a tropical storm reaches hurricane status a 74 MPH.

Fun with Camera

Just found out how to use the timer on the old Canon Powershot A95, so we tried to get a nice family photo.

SNOWDEN music video 1

I produced this music video for the Atlanta band Snowden check em out on myspace, http://www.myspace.com/snowden, it was for their song "My Murmuring Darling". The toughest part of the preproduction was securing a location. Originally we hoped to shoot on North Beach on Tybee Island, but I soon found out we are in the midst of loggerhead turtle mating season, and no lights are aloud on the beach at night. So I immediately thought of where we landed after we went kayaking, the problem was I had no idea what town it was in, and honestly i still don't know. I ended up having to get permission from a Bryan County official, The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and the Georgia Department of Transportation. The shoot went off well only a couple hours behind schedule, finished at about 4am sunday mourning rested four a couple hours and was back at it the next day. I'm tired of typing.
