Xmas in Blue Ridge, GA II

I'd like to start off by thanking Keely, with out her, none of these pictures would have been possible. She pulled a "Nintendo" (opened it up and blew in it) on the camera and it seems to be running fine now.

With that said, Xmas was not the same without family and friends, but we managed to have ourselves a merry little christmas anyway. Driving up the perilous Moonshine Hollow, I knew we had picked a good cabin. All the way atop Bullen's gap, cozy little "Meggum's Cuddle" (Named after the owners deceased wife) sits in tranquility looking out onto the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains. We had a grand time, playing cards, chillin in the hammock or the hot tub. And I believe I have started a new Xmas eve tradition of Cheeseburgers and tater tots. Aside from being attacked by some of the locals dogs, the trip was great. It was nice falling asleep listening to rain and nothing else as well as waking to dense masses of fog drifting effortlessly through the mountains. Anyway thanks to everyone that sent us gifts and we missed Ya'll on Xmas.

Looking at all our pictures I realize we have become the people who treat their pets like furry little human children. I am not sure how I feel about this, but their is no turning back now. They are my babies.

No mas pictoras, !DIOS MIO!

I regret to announce my canon powershot a95 has shat or shall i say shited the bed. So I do not know when I will be able to post more pictoras because I can't take any. The camera makes wierd noises and flashes E18 before shutting off. We have done some research online and it seems a lot of canon's cameras have this problem and there aint much you can do about it.

I am currently on winter break, it feels like vacation even though i am still working. Watched the complete Band of Brothers series, I would highly advise anyone who enjoys world war films to see it, it's fantastic.

I will be the second camera assistant on a grad thesis project that starts shooting next week. 35mm Black and White, using a Movie Cam Super America. Should be fun. well thats about all i got 2 say, peace i'm outta here.
