Two Year Anniversary: Cumberland Island

Follow the color coded trails to see where we hiked.

Two Year Anniversary: Cumberland Island

Man that thing was heavy.

A Wild Horse's hoof prints on the beach.

Keely on a private road we crossed returning to the docks on parellel trail.

Sunset on Saturday night

A romantic dinner of Ramen Noodles.

Two Year Anniversary: Cumberland Island

This looks like a really serene picture of me gazing out into the atlantic ocean. In reality, we were at the seventeenth mile of a twenty mile hike and I am soaking my chigger infested legs, trying to stop the itching.

The nest of a white eyed viero, she was too quick to get a photo, but her nest was really cool.

Went out to the beach at night hoping to see some loggerhead turtles nesting in the sand. We didn't travel to far, one because it was dark and two because I am afraid of wild horses. They will bite you in the head, true story.

Here is a picture of our campsite at stafford beach. Just to the right of frame is our food and trash hanging from the tree. It didn't really stop the racoons whom I was in a constant battle of wit. ( I lost) Those buggers were smart, they even unzipped our backpack to get a bag of jerky out.

It was pretty amazing having miles and miles of beach all to ourselves.

Keely's Yard Sale

Saturday was the big Yard Sale. Unfortunately THE MAN came down on us telling us we couldn't hang up signs. THey gave keely a warning which she is displaying in this pic and i had to walk around the hood taking down the signs. We did make an impressive 3 dollars and fifty cents BUYA. Anyway all is well in Savannah and I am about to start my thesis HOORAY.

DAN DEACON

saw this guy at the jinx on thursday night. It might have been the most high energy show I have ever been to it was awesome. Unfortunately someone spilled a beverage on his equipment (he plays on the floor in the middle of the crowd and lets people dance on stage) so he had to cut the show short. He is playing at the middle east in cambridge on july 12th go check em out (jess).

Adventures on Ebeneezer

Keely and I rented Kayaks on Ebeneezer creek yesterday morning and it was alot of fun. The canon isn't woking so well so we got some pictures on the 35mm still camera so you probably won't be seeing them on the blog. It was really amazing a never ending black water cypress swamp. I had a blast , but Keely was a bit unnerved by all the gator sightings one was a big ol bloke probably an 8 footer. It is a whole different experience seeing a gator while in a kayak. Watching him watch you then he slowly disapears into the pitch black water, leaving only a trail of bubbles, spooky.

If anyone is interested in renting it is only $25 for the whole day, give Lee a call at

Adam Farrell's Digital Cinematorgraphy Projects

This is my second digital cinematography project. It is really dark so I don't know how it will look on your computer screen. I lit it with a Arri 650 watt fresnel and a Match not too shabby ay. Shot on panasonic's sdx900 or dvcpro 50, my friend Sarah was the actress and I though she did a very nice job.

This is my final for Digital Cinematography. I had to act as Director of Photography for another students project. My friend Matt Smith wrote and directed this movie for graduate directing. I was trying to go for a CSI miami lighting style. This was also shot with the sdx900.
