Hatfield's visit
So th Hatfields came to visit they spent a day and night in Savannah and we went up to Edisto Island SC for a day as well. Good times were had by all. Look at the size of that fish sandwich, crazy. Winthrop met some more family members and licked their ears.
I still love bugs
We went to Skidaway island state park last sunday and tjis guy was hanging out at the beginning of the trail. The park was pretty nice, it cost 3 bucks to park. we only stayed for an hour because we had tickets to go see Buster Keatons "the General" accompanied by an exact replica of the theatre orchestra that would perform the soundtrack. It was good. Winthrop's birthday is this weekend he's turning the big Zero one.

The Time of his Life
We took winthrop to Fort Pulaski last sunday, weather wasn't great so their wasn't anybody there. So we decided to test Winthrop's loyalty and let him off the leash, I have to admit as I was unlatching the leash from his collar I envisioned him running off never to be seen again. He did really well though, running up ahead and turning back waiting for us to catch up. We took him out to some mud flats and he ran circles around us. I love the picture of him infront of the old lighthouse.

The Punch
The Chatham Artillery was organized in 1786, it is the oldest military organaization in Georgia. Their first official duty was to pay tribute at the funeral on General Nathaniel Greene. in 1791 the Chatham Artillery saluted George Washington with twenty six discharges from their field pieces. And these great occasions were celebrated with the Chatham Artillery Punch. It is unsure how this lethal concoction came about, but it is believed to have started as a mild punch made by gentle ladies, then one by one officers of the artillery sneaked in there favorite spirit, thus creating Savannah's most noted drink in two centuries.
St. Patricks Savannah Style
Erin and Phil came into town their visit was short but sweet. Had a good time at the parade, at 1790, and just chillin on the porch. Went out to tybee for breakfast, and cruised river st. not bad in less then 48 days
They estimated 300, 000 people came into savannah this past weekend for the st. patricks day celebration. I just thank god this lady was one of them. What a spectacle

MJ'S Party
So MJ's ex was getting married, he was kind enough to invite her, but she opted to throw a not getting married party instead. Note to self, if someone tells you they are having an eighties party, you might want to check with someone else before you show up. MJ's friend got to the party all decked out in an 80's get up only to realize, nobody else was, I don't care who you are that's funny. The most surreal moment of the evening was when the country rock band whose specialties lye in Toby Keith covers starts to play, Prince's Purple Rain. I kid you not it was fantastic.
Sunday Keely and I took a drive out to Tybee to check out old fort Pulaski it was really cool. We tracked some deer through the bush, and leaped over some treacherous ravines, the fort was cool, too. I mean the things got a friggin moat for Christ sake.

some more shite to view at your leasure.
Just a few more pix, Keely the newest member of the aqua teen hunger force, Keely under the pier at Tybee Island, And a couple abstract photos of river st.
I know why people don't go to the Movies anymore. Yesterday I went to see Terrence Malick's latest film New World, the projection was so bad it was giving me motion sickness, i complained they said they would fix it, they didn't, I tried to suck it up and watch the movie, but the guy 2 seats down from me falls asleep and starts snoring so loud I can't hear the movie, so i left, thank god for netflix.
This means WAR
keely has waged war against our neighbor who has trained her dog to defacate in our drive way. Keely first left a note, when that didn't work she placed the dung in front of her gate, but the k9's colon won't stop. So Keely has plastered a half dozen of these signs all over our driveway, She means business!

pictures from Folks visit
This is just a taste of what we did during my parents week here. I wish I had pictures of the Tybee Theatre Cafe, that was an experience. Indian ass, cocalooney birds, and a one legged german stage performer. As you can see winthrop and kevin are NBF's (new best friends) and we had some good reptile spottings.
