Indian food is good.

I had my first encounter with Indian food a couple days ago, i went to Taste of India on Mall Blvd. And it was damn good they had a lunch buffet $8.95, so i guess i'll just list what I ate and rate them with a star system 5 being the best.

Navratan Korma - an assortment of vegetables w/ dried fruit in a rich and creamy gravy *****

Aloo Mutter - Potatoes and peas cooked in an Indian sauce ***

Chicken Curry - A fine curry gravy of tomatoes and spices with tender chicken ***

Chicken Kadai - Tender dark chicken on the bone, sauteed with, bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions, served curry ****

Lamb Kheema - Ground seasoned lamb with peas in a flavorful curry sauce ***

mulligatawny soup - split green peas, pureed green vegetables, a variety of spices and a dash of half and half *

Sambar Soup - Spicy vegetable soup with lentils, vegetables and seasoned with cumin seeds and herbs *

the meal also came with Naan similar to a pita but better and Pappadums a thin crispy Indian "chip" made from urad dal, flour, edible salt, asafoetida, peeper, edible oil and other spicees ***
